The invited players are drawn from the following list of qualifying events:

• Piping Live! Masters Piobaireachd Winner – Jack Lee
• Senior Piobaireachd, Argyllshire Gathering Winner – Stuart Liddell
• Northern Meeting Clasp Winner – Callum Beaumont
• Glenfiddich Champion – Finlay Johnston

This will be a fantastic competition, with each competitor playing a MacCrimmon Piobaireachd. The Competition commences at 7.30pm and the Dress code: Highlandwear/Formal

The centre serves as a national and international centre of excellence for the great Highland Bagpipe and its music.

The Auditorium
The National Piping Centre Auditorium hosts our daily lunchtime recitals as well as several other one off events including book launches, competitions and prize givings. It is also the home of Piping Live!’s late night festival club which welcomes performers from throughout the week for a late night celebrations.

The Museum of Piping
The Museum of piping is open all day for you to look round and enjoy. We have daily guided tours at 11am and 3pm from some of the world’s top Piping historians which will give you an even deeper insight into the history of the bagpipes.

The Pipers’ Tryst Restaurant
Serving delicious, fresh, Scottish food throughout the year, the Pipers’ Tryst will be running a daily BBQ at the festival. Grab yourself a burger while enjoying our Street Cafe sessions.

The Shop
As always our fully stocked shop has everything you need from reeds to t-shirts, tune books to postcards. We are open every day for you to come and browse with some extra special items in for this year’s festival. Come and have a look round!
